Lisa Marks is an Assistant Professor in the School of Industrial Design at Georgia Tech. She teaches studio courses in both undergraduate and graduate programs. Marks' research focuses on combining endangered and traditional handcraft with algorithmic modeling to create new production methods. She holds a Master of Industrial Design from Parsons School of Design, which she obtained from 2015 to 2017. Marks also earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Product Design from Parsons School of Design from 1999 to 2003. Prior to her academic career, Marks worked in New York, where her clients included Google, Nike, and Swarovski.
